The pliers were extensively tested during a 10-day saltwater trip.
Positive:
– Pleasant material, very grippy
– Lightweight
– Cutters perform very well on nylon, fluorocarbon, and braid
– Pliers are sturdy, jaws with minimal twisting
Negative:
The leather sheath should have a loop for attaching it to a belt.
I wasn’t wearing a belt and accidentally pulled the sheath off several times along with the stainless steel clip.
When sitting down in the boat, the sheath and pliers slipped off my waistband three times.
After four days, the stainless steel D-ring started to rust. It could simply be omitted.
